"Friends First" is our Focus. By becoming involved with activities
we enjoy, meeting new people and doing the things that are important to us, we create
opportunities to meet people with common interests while looking for that special
someone.
Our goals are to create:
- events where singles can meet.
- a community of single friends
to enjoy life.
- Interest Groups to participate in common interests.
- meet Mr/Ms right along the way.
We started this group to create no-pressure events where singles could meet. It
has already evolved into a larger sense of community. Within that framework we
all keep an eye out for Mr./Ms. right.
As a group single people are a force, and yet often times untapped. Many of us
just get into our routines of going to work, coming home, relaxing and doing things
by ourselves - and therefore we don't get out and stay involved. And, because
sometimes it hasn't been any fun to go out and try to meet people through on-line
dating or whatever, we postpone or procrastinate getting out there. Hence, our
approach is: "friends first".
Our activities are based more on the European model where groups of friends do
everything together - individual connections are made from there - but without pressure.
You may participate in any or all events. Try them all and see what you like.
